Usage of Benzaldehyde:

1.Benzaldehyde is an important raw materials,it can be used for making Dodecyl aldehyde, Lauric acid, Phenylacetaldehyde,Benzyl benzoate, etc.


2.Benzaldehyde can be used as a reagent for the determination of ozone, phenol, alkaloids,etc.


3.Benzaldehyde can be used as a special fragrance.
(a)used in floral formulas, such as lilac, white orchid, jasmine, violet, acacia, sunflower, sweet bean blossom, plum blossom, orange blossom, etc.
(b)used in soap.
(c)used as flavor in almonds, berries, cream, cherries, coconuts, apricots, peaches, pecans, plums, vanilla beans, spicy and other flavors.
(d)Used in wine flavors such as rum, brandy, etc.


4.Benzaldehyde is an intermediate of the herbicide and plant growth regulators.
