o-Anisidine can be used to produce azo dye, ice dye, chromophenol as-ol and guaiacol, Anli, etc. As the intermediate of medicine and dyestuff, it is also used in food industry to produce vanillin. It is used as complex indicator, intermediate of azo dye and bactericide, intermediate of dye, perfume and medicine.
